Stuart Bowden Stuart Bowden is the managing director of Consystel Ltd., and has over twenty five years experience in management and IT consultancy. His last position was as European Business Development Director of Aspect's Consulting and Systems Integration business. Prior to that he was a Director and shareholder in Envoy Systems Ltd., one of Europe's leading call centre and CTI systems integrators. His career in consultancy has resulted in an ability to quickly assess and manage new and changing situations; to look at problems from a number of viewpoints and to derive solutions which are both practical and commercially sound. Having been involved in computer telephony and call centres since 1981, Stuart has become one of Europe's leading experts on the development and use of the new convergence technologies for linked computer-telephony systems - commonly known as CTI - in call centres and other customer interaction situations. He has written many papers and articles on the practical business uses of integrated Customer Interaction Centres as well as helping people to understand the technical aspects of CTI. Stuart is in demand as a conference speaker with the ability to talk simply, but knowledgeably, from direct experience across a broad range of industry sectors. From 1994 to 1996, he was Chairman of ACTIUS - the Association of Computer Telephony Integration Users and Suppliers - which represents around 200 members who are all involved in the CTI arena.
